Yarrow aromatic water is an excellent styptic and can be applied as a lotion to minor wounds. It may be combined with peppermint and or bay as an aftershave toner. Yarrow aromatic water may also be added to creams for weeping and inflamed skin conditions (combines well with witch hazel and chamomile for this), and for varicose veins (combines well with witch hazel and horse chestnut). Avoid in pregnancy.
