Giftwrap, Packaging and Delivery
The current packaging for the product lists consists of:
- Tinctures - brown recycled glass bottles with tamper evident lid and dropper
- Dried Herbs - resealable plastic bags
- Culinary Herbs - glass jars with screw lid, refills come in resealable plastic bags
- Honey Syrups - brown recycled glass bottles
- Heavenly Herbs Creams - clear glass jars with screw lid
- Aromatic Waters - plastic or glass sprayer bottles either blue or brown
- Creams - usually glass jars but can be in plastic jars. The 500ml size is packaged in plastic tubs
- Carrier and Macerated Oils - recycled glass bottles/jars
- Essential Oils - brown recycled glass bottles with dropper.
It is our aim to dispatch the very next working day. But sometimes this is not always possible. We send a dispatch notification by email when your goods are sent, so it pays to provide your email address.
If you are in a particular hurry for an item, just ask us to contact you to confirm dispatch time before withdrawing the money from your credit card - we will happily oblige. You can ask us to do this in the special instructions section.
The bottles are sent to you in recycled padded envelopes or boxes. The padded envelopes are used for small orders of 1 or 2 small bottles. Delivery is by first class mail for the UK. For orders over a few pounds we do recommend you choose the Recorded mail option so we can track your parcel if there are any delays.
For delivery to Europe or the rest of the world, recorded airmail is usually used. There are many regulations in each country governing what may or may not be imported and it is impossible for Artemis Herbs to know what is or is not allowed for each country. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure their order complies with the laws and regulations in force in their country. If the goods are seized we will not be able to refund unless the goods are returned undamaged.
When you choose giftwrap, an attractive, neutral paper is used to wrap the goods before they are packaged for delivery. Your gift message is printed on a tag and attached to the goods. All the goods for one delivery address are packaged together.
You can specify multiple delivery addresses each with different options, different products and/or different quantities. You can save your delivery addresses - why not build up your gift list with us? These herbs make beautiful gifts.
Each package contains a dispatch note listing all goods ordered. An order summary is sent to the billing address. Many of the goods come with a printed product sheet which contains the information about the product, such as the source, directions for use, precautions, etc, and also important safety information.
