Nail Fungus - Suggested topical applications.

I have read that a particular herb tea can be used to soak the nails for the treatment of nail fungus. Can you suggest what it could be? And are there any other topical applications?

The herbalist writes ...
Marigold dried herb combined with Lapacho (Pau d'arco) dried herb, prepared as a tea, may be useful as a soak for nails.

The aromatherapist writes ...
Tea Tree, Tea Tree, Tea Tree. It's the best stuff for anything like that. A solution of 6 drops of tea tree in 100ml of pre-boiled (sterile) water or 6 drops diluted in 5ml (a tablespoon) of a carrier oil such as grapeseed, used either as a nail bath or dabbed onto the nails with cotton wool. Neat Tea Tree may be OK, but it might sting.
