Golden seal is a valuable mucous membrane astringent for stubborn catarrhal conditions. It is used in candidiasis, having anti-microbial properties, and is a bitter tonic for gut infections. It is endangered in the wild, so we only use cultivated sources.
Not to be taken for longer than 6 weeks. Do not take if pregnant or breast feeding. Avoid if suffering from high blood pressure.
