Burdock is traditionally used as a skin remedy for acne, boils, abcesses, eczema and psoriasis. For this purpose it is best mixed with other herbs such as dandelion root, to balance its strong cleansing action. Suitable for children.
Burdock can occassionally worsen skin conditions initially due to its strong detoxifying action. Build up the dosage gradually. Best avoided during pregnancy and lactation.
