Liver tonic

The root of this plant is a powerful liver tonic. In traditional Chinese Medicine, it is used to treat 'disharmony' between the liver and spleen which manifests as abdominal pain, bloating, nausea and indigestion. It may be combined with milk thistle for chronic liver problems.

Do not exceed the stated dose. Serious liver problems are best treated by a qualified herbalist in conjunction with your GP.
