This traditional South African plant is mainly used as a short-term remedy for acute cystitis or urethritis. It combines well with soothing herbs such as cornsilk, marshmallow leaf or couch grass.
This herb is a powerful uterine stimulant. Avoid during pregnancy and whilst breast-feeding. Short-term use recommended (one or two weeks at a time for acute cystitis).
